New Section: Forever a Noob
This new section of my investing newsletter is a safe space for learning about and staying up-to-date on crypto and NFT things.
Ever since sharing my first list of women in crypto, I’ve received an amazing response and a number of recommendations. I’ve been told over and over again, “Yes! We need this!” and “Following these women now!” I’ve also received tons of recommendations of women to add to the list.
Meanwhile, I’m joining more communities, meeting more people, and asking more questions. But I was surprised when people started asking me questions.
People sliding into my DMs with questions about gas fees. Community members reaching out to say they’ve listened to my interview on Professor Tonya Evans’s Tech Intersect. Industry leaders (and role models of mine) asking me to support their projects.
Am I…an authority in the industry now?
I wouldn’t say so, no. But in an industry where the market is always open and the next big thing happened yesterday, it’s basically impossible to be an expert. And that’s why I’ve named this newsletter segment Forever a Noob.
In this space, I’ll focus on crypto, NFTs, and maybe a bit of web3, which will be separate from Sterling Invests. Everyone, of course, is welcome to subscribe, but my Sterling Invests Substack is meant to focus on my journey towards becoming an investor, not just crypto things.
I’m using this space to talk about:
Women in crypto
Resources I find useful
Anecdotes that help us all make better choices
But none of this is investment advice.
So with all that being said, I’d love for you to subscribe if you want to learn more about crypto, ask questions, and find resources you don’t know how to search for (or don’t have time to research).
PS - if you want to hire me to write for you, check out my services page.
PPS - if you most definitely don’t want to receive emails about posts in Forever a Noob, you can change your account settings.
